Dear Neighbors, Family, and Friends,

We did it! This morning, I woke up feeling incredibly honored because last night you elected me the newest councilmember to represent Ward 3 on Hyattsville City Council. My heart is filled with gratitude for your support and the trust you have placed in me.

Throughout this campaign we developed a vision for a brighter future for our community; a future that is inclusive, equitable, and sustainable. One that will secure the vibrancy and safety of our ward.

To the residents of Ward 3, thank you for sharing your concerns and priorities with me and my team. Your voices were the driving force behind my priorities and inspired me to work even harder to formulate better solutions that will benefit our community. I promise to keep listening to your concerns and advocating for the issues that matter most to you.

To my family and friends, thank you for your encouragement and financial support. Your generosity allowed me to run a campaign that reached 12,000+ social media users, attract 1,200+ website visitors, mail 1,100+ postcards to residents of Ward 3, and host an event.

Last but not least, to my campaign volunteers who knocked on doors and attended community events, you were the team who helped make it all happen. Special thanks to my campaign manager David Horwitz and treasurer Angela Morris. I truly could not have done this without you.

Once again, thank you all for your support, your trust, and your belief in me. I cannot wait to get to work serving our Hyattsville community.
