Since moving to Ward 3 in 2012, my love has only grown for Hyattsville and the people that make our community unique. That uniqueness is not something I take for granted.

On Council, I will promote intentional economic growth while preserving Hyattsville’s uniqueness, support investment in resident and public safety, and advocate on behalf of residents to the city government.

Spread the word to any young people you know searching for a summer job! Today marks one year since announcing my run for Hyattsville City Council. What a whirlwind it’s been! I thought this would be a great time to reflect on my experience so far and share a little of what I’ve accomplished on behalf of the residents of Ward 3. You can read about it on my website (link in bio). Last night I had the pleasure of attending a dynamic program showcasing Black culture in the arts. The performances featured talent from the Visual Performing Arts program at Northwestern High School. Looking forward to seeing you on Friday! We’re wrapping up #EconomicDevelopmentWeek with a big welcome to some of the City’s newest businesses! This week, I along with Mayor Croslin, Council President Solomon, City Administrator Douglas, Chief Towers, and members of the City’s Community and Economic Development Team visited businesses that opened in the last year to connect and share resources. Had a chance to practice bicycle safety while also having fun talking with some of our elected representatives like @wanikafisher Between now and May 9, drop off your ballot in a secure drop box at the City Building (4310 Gallatin Street), the Hyattsville Branch Library (6530 Adelphi Road), or Felegy Elementary School (6110 Editors Park Drive). Ballots must be received by 8 p.m. on Election Day.
